The Viticulteurs Encaveurs Association gathers the wine producers of the Valle d’Aosta region who have gained a reputation for the quality
and typicality of their wines produced in the Valle d’Aosta area.
This group of winegrowers has a deep bond with the Valle d’Aosta area and full control over all production stages, from harvest to winemaking, up to
the end product. Viticulteurs Encaveurs pay great attention to traditional winegrowing and winemaking methods- handed down from father to son- while
being open to new ideas and technologies, always employed in an eco-friendly way.
The Viticulteurs Encaveurs Vallée d’Aoste Association was established by the wine producers and aims at the protection and promotion of Valle
d’Aosta’s wine products. The association, actively involved in the achievement of this goal, takes part in the region’s viticultural planning, pursues
the improvement of the quality of the grapes grown by the members with a special interest in autochthonous varieties, promotes progress in the wine
field and contributes to the preservation and promotion of the Valle d’Aosta region’s customs and traditions in the winegrowing and winemaking field.
In a land where Mother Nature puts obstacles in man’s way and allows the production of a few thousand bottles, the local vintners’ determination goes
beyond the limits imposed by nature. With perseverance, tireless efforts and dedication, typical of mountain people, they keep going where others
leave off to obtain top-quality products that repay them for their hard work and give great pleasure to customers. The association is made up of wine
producers from all over the region. Each winery has its own history and a deep love of winegrowing and of the land. Visiting our wine cellars and
tasting our wines, surrounded by Europe’s most beautiful and imposing mountains, is an unforgettable experience.
